ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for day to day supervision, preparation and service of Pastry & Bakery in your section, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required. To ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all Kitchen areas when under your supervision.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in similar setting, or Michelin star restaurant.
- Preferred previous Pastry Chef de Partie experience
- Must be able to work clean and tidy and in a timely manner
- Must be able to remain calm in a highly pressurised environment
- Excellent time management both of themselves and the team
- Demonstrates excellent skills and creativity in one or more aspects of patisserie ie: sugar, chocolate, plated desserts
- Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate, Food Safety Level 2
- Must be fluent in English
- Artistic abilities
- Articulate and imaginative
- A flexible attitude to working hours
- Good communication skills
- Interest in Food and the industry
