We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Security and Health and Safety Manager to join the team at The Londoner.
Overview:
- A new opportunity to join our Londoner Security team as Assistant Security and Health and Safety Manager.
- The primary function of this role is to safeguard hotel guests and their property along with the safety of employees and their personal belongings.
- You will ensure that the building and its assets are protected and secure at all times.
- You will ensure that all fire and life safety systems are fully functional.
- You will provide all fire related safety training to occupants of the building.
- You will carry out accident investigations when required collating information for external bodies.
- You will provide advice, guidance and support to Heads of Department in the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System for example risk assessments, COSHH, manual handling and First Aid.
- You will provide assistance to the food and beverage teams on allegations of food poisoning or food contamination.
- You will support with investigations of criminal offences committed by visitors, trespassers, staff or guests, reporting all such instances to the Security and Health and Safety Manager.
- You will carry out random and frequent employee searches of staff entering or leaving the premises.
- You will undertake investigations regarding breaches of internal policy in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
About You:
- You should have similar current experience ideally within a hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills are required for this role.
- You should have a positive and productive work ethic that encourages collaborative effort and that creates growth for all areas of the business.
- You should maintain a valid SIA Close Protection or Door Supervisor License.
