We are currently on the lookout for a Director of Sales, to join the crew. You will report to the General Manager and love hotels!
This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales within the hospitality industry. You will lead the sales team, develop strategic business relationships, and implement effective sales plans to achieve targets and enhance the hotel’s market position.
What will you do
- You will be responsible for driving sales strategies to maximise revenue growth and profitability for YOTEL Edinburgh.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
- Create and execute sales plans, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including negotiating contracts and closing sales deals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimise pricing and revenue strategies.
- Analyse sales performance metrics and financial data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Work closely with revenue management teams to maximise profitability through effective pricing and inventory management.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget reviews for senior management.
- Utilise data analytics and reporting tools to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present findings, strategies, and recommendations to the wider leadership team to support informed decision-making.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process and guest experience.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement CRM systems and processes to maintain accurate customer records and improve client retention.
