Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit for a number of Cleaning Supervisors on a temporary basis in Edinburgh.Role - Cleaning SupervisorLocation - Various locations in EdinburghHours - 36 hours per week (7am - 9am then 3pm until 8pm but may have flexibility with hours)Duration - Until end of March 2025 (with possible extension)Pay rate - £14.93 per hourStart date - asapThe successful candidate will be working as part of an established team and will have their own dedicated locations to manage. You will be looking after a variety of operational buildings, including schools, community centres and offices. You will be carrying out, but not be limited to:
- Allocation of daily tasks to cleaning operatives
- Logging any complaints and ensuring they are resolved
- Escalating unresolved issues to the Team Leader as required
- Attend meetings as required
- Ordering materials when required
- Managing stock rotation and monitoring stock levels
- Assisting with cleaning tasks as required
- Responsible for signing in / out, incident logs, absence logs and ensuring these are logged and kept in the correct manner
- Carry out inductions and training
- Report any safety or maintenance issues to Janitorial staff or to the FM helpdesk
- Any other tasks as required
