Castlebridge Hospitality is a privately-owned hotel group with over 30 years’ experience in developing, owning and operating both internationally and privately branded hotels in the UK and Europe, the company manages all hotel stages: from design and construction to opening and operation.

Currently managing 851 bedrooms, Castlebridge Hospitality offers a full operational solution. We implement effective systems and controls, ensure a smooth opening and then manage growth to maximise owners’ long term returns.

We have four IHG Hotel Indigo Hotels in our current portfolio: Hotel Indigo Bath, Hotel Indigo Chester, Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon and our most recent addition Hotel Indigo Coventry. We also have the Hilton Garden Inn at Birmingham Airport and the voco Winchester Hotel and Spa in our portfolio.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a clear information strategy for all areas of the business that will support the company’s drive for business growth and efficiency. Critical tasks beyond formulation of the strategy will be building and analysing data sets, generating insights and providing actionable recommendations. Engagement with all areas of the business will be critical to success in this role. Future proofing our information systems will be critical as the company seeks to manage more hotels, both owned by the group and by third parties looking for the best return on their investment.

Financial Returns

• Understand all the data used to run the business and develop a strategy for managing all the information efficiently through all areas of the business
• Develop an efficient, effective and scalable structure to the data sets encompassing a preferred BI tool
• Be capable of analysing large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights that will drive business decisions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analytics
• Seek to automate the production of information so making I more real time and relevant
• Build more robust real time information with clear timetables and responsibilities for all deliverable elements
• Help ensure all systems in place throughout the company are used to their maximum potential, and constantly assess the viability and appropriateness of all systems to ensure the changing needs of the company are consistently met

People

• Work with the Finance Director and Group Finance Manager to ensure the hotel teams have the necessary confidence in the data presented so that they are happy to trust decisions made based upon the presented information
• Become an integral and trusted member of the finance team
• Make sure the processes applied by the hotel teams are consistent, and the necessary capabilities and skills are trained into their teams
• Work closely with all representatives on the management board to ensure they are getting the information they require to run the business
• Use experience to coach in good practice to the hotel teams

Responsible Business

• Ensure data and information is prepared and managed on a consistent basis across all hotels
• Develop close relationships with partners, like till providers, to ensure we are maximising the potential from the software licensed from third parties
• Stay current with industry trends and best practice in business intelligence and data visualisation
• While the initial focus will be on building scalable solutions managed by the BI Analyst, the longer term goal will be self-serve solutions allowing for further growth without extending the cost of the BI team
• Take the time needed to build confidence in the data sets throughout the business as information is launched
