Job Description
Portico are on the lookout for a Receptionist to join our team based at a law firm located in the heart of the city on a 1 year maternity cover contract.
Our reception team are split across the client floors and ground floor, overseeing all things front of house. So, the successful candidate will have the chance to work alongside a small team of experienced, high performing Receptionists.
The successful Receptionist will be based in the main entrance of the building, where the firm have a separate reception desk to the rest of the tenants. They will be a proud ambassador for both Portico and the law firm, impacting first impressions for all visitors and providing a friendly and familiar face for the firm’s staff. They will have a focus on taking care of the visitor journey from the friendly welcome to a found and memorable farewell. Providing exceptional levels of customer service along the way! They will control entry to the firm’s floors, so will remain security conscious when issuing access and ensuring that all visitor journeys from the ground floor to the firm’s floors are a smooth and seamless experience.
Shifts: 40 hours per week, rotating shifts between 8am-8pm, Mon-Fri
Salary: £30,379
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver and first class customer service professional, as the Receptionist will be expected to use their own initiative to make “in the moment choices” daily.
They must be able to think and act quickly to any given situation and therefore will be able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, as well as an excellent ability to quickly comprehend the needs of both customers and the firm.
The Receptionist will need to be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, they will also need to make excellent first impressions on visitors and be a proud ambassador for the firm.
A good knowledge of Corporate Reception and experience within a high-end customer service role are both essential requirements.
Knowledge of Condeco is desirable.
