Job Purpose
You work as part of the Guest Services Team to ensure that the cleanliness, presentation and condition and of all public areas are maintained at a consistently high standard throughout. Our teams work with enthusiasm and demonstrate excellent customer service standards, This role will predominantly be covering cleaning, but may include cover in other areas as required.
Areas of Responsibility
Indoor area cleaning
- Vacuuming
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Cleaning and servicing toilet and baby change facilities
- Emptying litterbins
- Cleaning public areas during the day in order that the presentation of the site is kept to a high standard
Outdoor area cleaning
- Litter picking
- Emptying litterbins
- Clearing car parks
- Using light machinery (leaf blowers, mulchers) where required.
- Sweeping paths
- Cleaning building structures from build up of dirt and cobwebs
- Changing signs
Additional areas of responsibility
- Customer focus – be able to handle customer feedback helpfully and promptly.
- Other duties as required by the Duty Manager.
- Assisting in other departments if required and trained.
- Managing stock room cleanliness.
- Liaising with line manager and other departments regarding cleaning requirements and jobs
- Wear all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required such as gloves, goggles and overalls.
- Managing stock levels for cleaning chemicals or PPE, either by ordering or communicating with line manager/maintenance team.
- Undertake all training courses required for job role.
- Maintain in good condition all equipment, cleaning tools and own uniform / PPE.
- Participate in Farm Park 1-2-1 and group meetings as required.
- Report maintenance issues using the fault reporting system.
Due to the rural location of Cotswold Farm Park, your own or reliable transport is required. We are not serviced by public transport facilities.
