Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Operational Finance professional who will recognise current and future drivers of EBITDA, whilst supporting and challenging operational leaders in achieving EBITDA. The successful candidate will ensure stakeholders are provided with relevant commercial management information and insight on a timely basis.

The Head of Operational Finance will design, review, improve, and deliver Financial Operations processes that are fit for purpose in the context of supporting Splendid's strategic financial aims and objectives. They will deliver outstanding customer service to stakeholders through a well-developed and motivated team. The post holder will have full oversight of the management accounts and business partnering activities across the group ensuring that all financial operational activities are executed to a first-class standard.

Role in our Family

• Manage Finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial information.

• Ensure that our financial systems and processes support the smooth running of our hospitality operations. Provide the necessary financial data and reports to help our team deliver exceptional service.

• Identify opportunities to enhance top and bottom-line performance of each Division.

• Maintain close scrutiny of the key commercial drivers of EBITDA ensuring threats and opportunities are identified in a timely manner and actions taken to maintain alignment with budget.

• Manage and develop Finance Business Partners

• Work closely with other Finance Head of Department to continuously improve ways of working.

• Build strong and trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Support delivery of group wide reporting deadlines and business performance reviews.

• Enable detailed financial analysis across all divisions.

• Support the Development and Investment team with operational financial insight.

• Identify and action opportunities for cross divisional synergies.
