Doorman / Concierge to £32,000

Knightsbridge-( 42 hours a week M-F)

Our client is a reputable and multifaceted asset ownership, retail and e-commerce business based in London, specialising in luxury assets. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Doorman / Concierge to join their prestigious/ flagship fine wine & spirits store in Central London.

We are seeking an an experienced doorman with previous experience in the retail or hotel sector (preferably the luxury industry) who is calm, composed and professional. In this role you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff and high-value products. As such you will need to be physically fit, well presented and possess good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors. We would like the candidate to bring their own personality to the role.
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to deter theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
• Monitor the store entrance, welcoming every customer that enters, opening the door for them, and helping them with any of their needs (getting to the car etc, holding an umbrella for them).
• Conduct regular patrols of the store, including the shop floor, stockrooms, and any other areas, to identify and address potential security risks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
• Assist in the apprehension of shoplifters and liaise with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed and accurate reports.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and other team members to develop and implement effective security measures and improvements.

Salary will be dependent upon experience
