Our grounds are an essential part of what makes Dunluce Lodge special, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere for all who visit. We’re seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team and help us maintain the beauty and charm of our property.
As a Groundskeeper at Dunluce Lodge, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces, ensuring they are always pristine and inviting. Your role will involve landscaping, gardening, and general maintenance of the grounds to create an immaculate environment for guests to enjoy. You’ll take pride in your work, have a passion for nature, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Landscape Maintenance: Maintain gardens, lawns, and pathways, ensuring they are well-kept and visually appealing.
- Gardening: Plant, prune, and care for a variety of flowers, trees, and shrubs, contributing to the beauty and diversity of the grounds.
- Outdoor Cleanliness: Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris, ensuring a pleasant environment for all guests.
- Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs and upkeep to outdoor furniture, walkways, and other features as needed.
- Seasonal Tasks: Prepare grounds for seasonal changes, including planting, mulching, leaf removal, and winter preparation.
- Equipment Management: Safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, keeping them in good working condition.
What We’re Looking For:
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for ensuring the grounds are maintained to the highest standard.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Passion for Nature: A genuine interest in gardening and outdoor maintenance.
- Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and proactively manage tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or gardening is preferred.
