We are now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our business growth.


Role Overview:

The Commercial Manager will play a key role in driving the business's commercial strategy, ensuring profitable growth, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing and optimising the company's commercial activities, including financial planning, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and client management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Commercial Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with Absolute Taste’s objectives, focusing on maximising revenue and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring commercial targets are met. Identify risks and opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Actively seek out new business opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients and suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage pricing strategies for various products and services, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Use data to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and develop new revenue streams, expanding the company’s market reach and driving sales growth across different sectors.


Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Commercially driven with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial and business software.
