Woolley Grange Hotel, a beautiful country retreat in the heart of Wiltshire, is now seeking a motivated and talented Demi Chef de Partie to join our brilliant team. If you are a dedicated and skilled chef, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.

This a permanent role, at 45 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends), paying a salary of £29,190 per annum plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily food preparation and cooking using fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from our on-site kitchen garden.
• Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper portion control and minimise food wastage.
• Collaborate with other team members to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
• Keep the kitchen organised and clean.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for food and creativity.
• Charisma, an engaging personality and passion for hospitality
• Ability to keep calm and focussed during busy service, keeping your station clean and tidy throughout.
• Food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
• Organisational and time-management skill and effective communication and teamwork skills.
