Job Description
The Role
As Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will be first and foremost a people leader. You will shape, mentor, and motivate the team to deliver warm, genuine, and consistently high quality experiences. You will play a key role in developing a culture of excellence, where team members feel valued, supported, and driven to be their very best.
You will also oversee the operational running of the restaurant and bar, ensuring that standards, service flow, and guest satisfaction remain exceptional. Working closely with all departments, you will foster collaboration and teamwork that elevates every guest interaction.
Responsibilities
• Lead, inspire, and develop the restaurant and bar team, nurturing a culture built on pride, teamwork, and exceptional service.
• Create an environment where team members are coached, empowered, and supported to succeed.
• Share your knowledge by delivering high quality training, mentoring, and performance development to help individuals grow and progress.
• Champion service excellence and role model luxury hospitality standards throughout all aspects of the operation.
• Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service at all times.
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, and shift planning to support business needs.
• Support stock control, beverage ordering and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
• Contribute to the development of service standards, menus, and operating procedures.

• Proven management experience within a luxury restaurant or bar environment (hotel or resort experience is a plus).
• A natural leader with a genuine passion for developing people and helping teams thrive.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• A strong commitment to service excellence and attention to detail.
• Calm, organised, and confident in leading a busy hospitality operation.

• Flexible and hands on approach, with availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
