Job Description

A Guest Service Supervisor (GSS), must oversee the running of a shift and ensure that the Guest Services Assistants are managing their task lists accordingly. A GSS will be responsible for supporting their line manager with the reception department.

Role in our Family

As a Guest Service Supervisor, key to your role is:

• To provide a safe environment for Splendid Family Members and residents
• To monitor shift procedures, ensuring checklists are completed in the correct manner
• To supervise the multiple departments, working operational shifts as required
• To comply with the company policies regarding Fire, Health & Safety, Food hygiene and Security
• To support your line manager in training and development of team members
• To support other team members when dealing with guest complaints
• To ensure that rooms are cleaned to the SHG and Brand standards required, and turned around in an efficient manner
• To be proactive in generating sales and referring sales leads as well as upselling products and services where possible
• To carry out the responsibilities of a Guest Services Assistant when required
