About The Role:

As a Goods Receiver at Arcade, you will ensure that all deliveries are received accurately, checked for quality and compliance, and recorded correctly. Additionally, you will support stock and storage accuracy, playing a key role in reducing waste and ensuring our sites have the ingredients and products required to ensure a smooth daily operation.

The successful candidate will display excellent attention to detail across all areas of their remit and is passionate about all things food and beverage. As a Goods Receiver working at Arcade, you will:

• Ensure all deliveries are accurate, high quality, and fully compliant with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain precise, real-time stock records while ensuring correct storage, FIFO rotation, and equipment functionality.
• Reconcile deliveries, invoices, and pricing accurately, resolving discrepancies and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Monitor supplier punctuality and proactively resolve quality, quantity, or pricing issues.
• Improve goods-in processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and keep areas clean and organised.
• Communicate effectively with Chefs and Operations teams of any stock shortages, quality issues and delays.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Bring previous experience in a Goods Receiver position or a similar role in a high quality and high volume restaurant environment.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and confidence in balancing hands-on work with precise administrative tasks.
• Have a strong working knowledge of food safety, compliance and procedures.
• Bring a genuine passion for food and beverage, with a proactive mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and on-site teams.
• Have the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and P2P systems.
• Are able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Are a confident communicator who is keen to progress your career with a bold restaurant group!
