Join Arcade as a Goods Receiver - Powering Bold Kitchens with Precision, Quality & Care!
About Arcade:
Arcade is one of UK’s most ambitious and exciting hospitality projects! A dynamic playground where world-class chefs, bold culinary ideas, and vibrant guest experiences come together under one roof. As a brand incubator, we launch, operate, and scale original concepts that celebrate global cuisines and exceptional drink culture.
Whether you’re dreaming of crafting your own food concept, growing your skills from the ground up to management, or even launching your own business, we’re the place where your ideas can soar. With us, there’s no ceiling to you hitting your career goals and we’re here to help you make it happen!
About The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Goods Receiver who will act as the operational link between our suppliers and kitchen teams, ensuring product quality, availability, and compliance at every stage of the supply chain. This is a senior, site-critical role responsible not only for accurate receiving and stock control, but for actively supporting chefs in maintaining ingredient integrity, minimising waste, and protecting margin.
As an experienced Goods Receiver at Arcade, you will work in close partnership with Head Chefs and culinary teams to manage stock flow, storage standards, and delivery performance, ensuring kitchens are consistently equipped to deliver at the highest level. The successful candidate brings strong operational ownership, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food quality.
As an experienced Goods Receiver working at Arcade, you will:
- Act as the primary point of accountability for all goods-in operations across the site, setting and maintaining best-in-class receiving standards.
- Partner closely with Head Chefs and kitchen leadership to ensure ingredient quality, availability, and storage meet culinary and brand expectations.
- Inspect all deliveries against quality specifications, rejecting substandard goods and escalating supplier issues that impact kitchen performance.
- Maintain accurate, real-time stock records and oversee storage systems to ensure FIFO rotation, compliance, and optimal product integrity.
- Lead reconciliation of deliveries, invoices, and pricing, maintaining audit-ready documentation and protecting cost control.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive resolution of quality, quantity, and punctuality issues in collaboration with operations leadership.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve stock flow, reduce waste, and optimise storage efficiency in partnership with kitchen teams.
- Train and guide kitchen and support staff on best practice goods handling, storage, and stock discipline.
- Ensure goods-in areas are organised, safe, compliant, and operating to the highest hygiene standards.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Bring strong experience in a senior goods-in, stock control, or kitchen logistics role within a high-quality, high-volume hospitality environment.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of food safety, compliance, and stock management best practices.
Are highly organised, detail-driven, and confident managing both physical operations and administrative accuracy.
Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to challenge suppliers when standards are not met.
Are physically capable of lifting and moving heavy deliveries safely.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and P2P systems.
Thrive working independently while collaborating across kitchen and operations teams.
Are a strong communicator who wants to build a long-term career within a bold, chef-led restaurant group.
Have proven experience working directly with chefs and kitchen leadership to support operational excellence.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
