ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the entire food and beverage operations within the hotel, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction across all dining venues, bars, room service, and events.
The Director will manage, train, and develop the food and beverage team while ensuring strategic direction, cost efficiency, and profitability. The role requires a strong focus on guest experiences, employee satisfaction, and operational effectiveness, all while maintaining the hotel’s luxury brand standards.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in food and beverage management, including in a senior leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale operations, including multiple outlets, room service, banquets, and catering.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain quality standards.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage trends, guest preferences, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of food and beverage professionals.
- Advanced financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate with senior management, guests, and staff.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards in all aspects of food and beverage operations.
- Proficiency in using property management software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Food Safety, Health & Safety, or equivalent is required.
- Additional certifications or training in leadership, financial management, or guest services are an advantage.
