Job Description
•To clean as appropriate all surfaces, furnishings and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.
•To maintain sufficient supplies of cleaning materials and consumables relevant to the working area and ensure that they are stored safely and securely at all times.
•To use, maintain and ensure the safe storage of cleaning equipment and to report defects to the appropriate person.
•To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
•Set up tables, chairs, and other lounge furniture and arrange them appropriately.
•Clean and sanitize toilet cubicles, showers, tables, counters, and service areas regularly.
•Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
•Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and cooperation
•Be aware of COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment when using chemicals.
•Adhering to dress code policies. Demonstrate excellence.
•Adhere to health & safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment.
•Follow proper hand hygiene procedures and maintain personal cleanliness.
•To treat your team members as you would expect to be treated.
•To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the cleaning areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times
•To assist and share knowledge and experience with team members as required
•To report any accidents or near misses to your Supervisor as soon as they occur
•To ensure compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for cleaning tasks.
•To complete training courses as required.
•To rigorously follow the location cleaning schedules.
Qualifications
•Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or busy setting.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
•Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer complaints effectively.
•GCSE education or above
•Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a cooperative and positive attitude.
