Opened in October 2015, Hilton London Bankside represents the next generation of design-led Hilton Hotels. Each part of the property has been carefully created to reflect the fascinating history and ambiance of the surrounding area, combining the authentic urban grittiness and polished contemporary design.
Set in the heart of Bankside, just steps from some of London's most famous landmarks such as Tate Modern, Borough Market and The Shard, Hilton London Bankside is home to 292 stunning guest rooms including 25 bespoke suites which offer breathtaking views of the city skyline. In addition, the hotel brings a new neighbourhood eatery, OXBO Bankside to the area, alongside The Distillery, a cool and casual bar.
The hotel also features Bankside's largest and most exquisite Ballroom accommodating up to 700 guests’ theatre style or 500 in a banquet setting. With a private entrance, a 6-metre-high ceiling, dramatic chandeliers, a balcony and sweeping marble staircase leading to the Bankside Ballroom, this is a spectacular venue for any grand celebration, fashion show, awards ceremony, or corporate event.
Our award-winning, design-led hotel will be adding 76 beautifully crafted new rooms, bringing our total offering to 368 rooms by Q1 2026.
Job Description
The Director of Revenue is a key Commercial Leader responsible for optimizing revenue performance and profitability across all segments. This role requires a data-driven strategist with strong analytical expertise and a proven track record of maximizing yield through pricing, inventory management, and distribution strategies.
The ideal candidate will set, define and execute the revenue strategy and work in alignment with Sales, Marketing and Events teams, ensuring seamless integration and market positioning that drives demand, captures high-value business, and establishes the property as a market leader in London.

Role in our Family
As Director of Revenue, key to your role:
- Execute daily revenue management decisions to maximize RevPAR, TRevPAR and EBITDA, ensuring pricing, inventory, and restrictions are actively managed in alignment with market conditions, demand patterns, and the property/properties commercial strategy.
- Maximize brand contribution by optimizing revenue from brand.com, loyalty channels, and brand-driven marketing initiatives, ensuring brand tools, promotions, and member benefits are fully leveraged to drive profitable business to the property/properties.
- Own the integrity, accuracy, and optimization of all revenue management systems, including PMS, CRS, RMS, BI Tools and channel managers, ensuring that rates, availability, restrictions, and business rules are correctly loaded, updated, and aligned with the property/properties revenue strategy.
- Secure strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to align revenue strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring clear communication, data-driven recommendations, and consistent follow-through on agreed actions.
- Deliver clear, timely, and tailored communication of revenue strategies, performance results, and market insights to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring information is understood, actionable, and aligned with the property’s commercial objectives.
- Support and offer strategic guidance to SHG revenue and reservations team members as required, supporting skills development and consistent performance across the portfolio.
- Adopt a proactive role within the wider SHG revenue team driving new initiatives to improve and enhance business performance.
- Engage in available online and face to face training where available.
- Travel to hotels within area of responsibility to conduct face to face meetings as required or directed.
- Travel to business reviews or team meetings as required.
