We’re looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant with hotel operational experience to join our Finance team at The Wren.

Our Finance department plays a vital role in the success of our hotel, and in this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting procedures while supporting our commitment to exceptional guest service.

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a generalist hotel accounts or finance role
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, PMS systems (ideally Opera), and systems such as Fourth and Adaco
• A systematic, organised approach with the ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent administration skills and strong attention to detail
• Confident communication and customer service skills
• A flexible approach to working hours
• Ability to resolve enquiries efficiently and professionally

Key Responsibilities:
• Completing the daily revenue audit and daily banking procedures
• Overseeing and maintaining Stores
• Food & Liquor stock take and ordering
• Goods receiving
• Supporting month-end procedures, including journals, accruals, and pre-payments
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
• Monitoring financial control procedures to support maximum profitability
• Providing proactive operational support and guidance to colleagues
