We’re on the lookout for a Casual Housekeeping Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. Whether you're studying, juggling other commitments, or simply seeking a better balance, this is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work,without the full-time grind.

You’ll be supporting the team with day-to-day housekeeping duties, helping us keep our environment clean, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone who uses our services. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the chance to pick up shifts as and when it suits you.

Rate of Pay: £10.50 – £12.21 per hour
Contract: Zero-hours casual contract (complete flexibility)

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating daily room assignments, updating room status, and resolving any discrepancies.
• Liaising with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure issues, repairs, and guest requests are handled promptly.
• Supporting Housekeeping Management with daily operations and assigning tasks when required.
• Monitoring Do Not Disturb rooms, prioritising vacant dirty rooms, and managing rush/VIP requests.
• Keeping accurate records, logs, and reports throughout the shift.
• Communicating updates to Housekeeping staff and ensuring high cleaning standards.
• Assisting with room checks, public area cleaning, laundry, or room cleans when needed.
• Ensuring safety procedures, confidentiality, and company policies are always followed.
• Delivering friendly, responsive service to guests and supporting strong teamwork across departments.

What the role involves:

• Regular use of computer systems for updates and reports.
• Standing, walking, and occasional light lifting during the shift.
• Clear, professional communication with guests and colleagues.
• If you’re organised, great at multitasking, and enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, this role is a key part of delivering an exceptional guest experience.
