Ardenlee Care Home is set within its own peaceful grounds, offering scenic views over the sea, surrounding woodland and beautifully kept gardens. Specialising in residential care for thirty two residents, Ardenlee provides a warm, homely environment and a supportive place to develop your career.
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the preparation and delivery of high quality meals while helping to maintain a clean, safe and well organised kitchen that contributes to an enjoyable dining experience for residents.
What We Offer
- £12.21 per hour

- Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
What You Will Do
You will assist with preparing food to a high standard, supporting the smooth running of the kitchen each day. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, follow safe food handling principles and ensure equipment and surfaces are sanitised correctly. You will receive, check and store deliveries safely, keep storage areas tidy and follow all cleaning procedures. You will work safely at all times, adhere to Health and Safety legislation and contribute to a professional and positive kitchen environment through teamwork and courteous conduct.

- Clear communication skills
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
