Defined by our richness of personality, diversity of background and lifestyle, we are now looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Isla restaurant team as a Breakfast Waiter.

Your role

As a Breakfast Waiter at The Standard, London, you will become part of an exceptional restaurants team. You will be passionate about service, very well organised with an exceptional working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, and the order of service.

You will have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host our guests and enhance their experience, so you need to be highly social, upbeat, and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.

Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress is essential for this role. You will also have an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests. You will also need…

• Prior experience as a Breakfast Waiter or Waiter with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, or destination fine dining or high-quality restaurant
• Confident in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks
• Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday–Sunday
• Prior experience using squirrel epos is advantageous however full training will be given
• Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential
