Contract: Full time, 40 Hours per week - Monday - Friday (flexibility required on hours, occasionally early start at 6am)

Salary: £13.90 an hour

We're looking for an opened minded individual with flexibility to look after tea & coffee points, work at coffee shop as barista and be able to support restaurant when needed. 

The role requires heavy lifting of goods and delivering milks to tea/coffee points.

Job Description

You will assist the Catering Supervisors in all aspects of food service.

With an excellent eye for detail and high health and safety standards, you will ensure all food is handled in accordance with the standards set by our Food Safety & Quality management system. Alongside this, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining excellent standards at tea & coffee points, coffee shop and restaurant.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Full ownership of tea & coffee points.
  • Serve meals, snacks & drinks including taking payments at coffee shop and restaurant
  • Clean all equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.
  • Support, operate and provide service in areas including but not limited to: Serveries, Retail, Hospitality, Functions, Coffee Shops.
  • Ensure all food is handled in accordance with the standards specified in the Food Safety & Quality Management System
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant H&S legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training that may include off-site with a paid travel
  • Ensure the relevant deliveries are stored in the correct areas of the site

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a supportive attitude towards colleagues
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trolley
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service would benefit
  • Food hygiene certificate is preferred, but training can be provided
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
