Job Description
We’re now looking for a Financial Analyst to join our central Support Office team and play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance across our group.
About the Role:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis of performance across the Group’s existing and future hotel portfolio. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling across a dynamic, multi-site environment.
You’ll produce clear, insightful monthly performance reporting that explains results versus budget, forecast and prior year, ensuring senior stakeholders fully understand the commercial drivers behind EBITDA, emerging risks and new opportunities.
Working closely with the Head of FP&A and senior leaders across the business, you’ll contribute to strategic decision-making, capex planning and continuous improvement of FP&A processes, while building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Role in our Family
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions in a timely manner.
- Produce accurate and insightful monthly finance packs, providing variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year to drive an “Act on Fact” culture.
- Deliver monthly reforecasts of financial performance with a high degree of confidence and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations Directors, Commercial Finance, and other key stakeholders, providing challenge and support to achieve budgeted EBITDA.
- Analyse performance drivers and KPIs across the hotel portfolio, highlighting commercial opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, systems, and processes through automation and enhanced data tools.
- Take ownership of issues and risks, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Contribute to team capability and development through proactive feedback, personal development plans, and ongoing performance reviews.
About you:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and EBITDA.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to model and interpret large data sets.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, or other multi-site operations.
- Familiarity with ERP and BI tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
- Experience in capex planning, financial modelling, or process improvement.
