Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and inspire our team, elevate guest experiences, and drive financial performance. As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of the hotel.
You will oversee all operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of efficiency and profitability. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, sustainability, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering an unforgettable and inspirational experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations across hotel functions (rooms, F&B, spa, events, maintenance, housekeeping
• Develop and execute revenue growth strategies, pricing, and promotional partnerships
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability
• Set and uphold high standards of guest service, handling concerns promptly and personally
• Lead and nurture a high-performing team, including recruitment, development, performance management, and fostering a positive culture
• Maintain product consistency and implement quality control procedures
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, licensing, and regulatory standards
• Ensure full compliance to brand standards
• Cultivate relationships with local businesses, travel agents, and the community
• Deliver regular performance reports on financials, occupancy, and guest satisfaction metrics
Role Requirements
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a General Manager or similar role
• Great leadership skills with the ability to inspire others.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with a passion for team and guests.
• An ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
• Knowledge & understanding of all department operations
• Understanding of the hospitality industry, including current demands & trends would be an advantage
