We’re now looking for a Category Buyer - FF&E and OS&E to join our passionate Procurement team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to some of London’s most iconic hotels and help shape the design, feel, and functionality of our spaces - from statement furniture to the finishing touches that make each guest experience truly memorable.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in sourcing, coordinating, and delivering the products and materials that bring our hotels to life. Working closely with the Group Head of Procurement and the Category Manager, you’ll support the strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management of all Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) for refurbishments and ongoing operations.
Your focus will be on ensuring that everything we source - from major installations to the smallest detail - reflects our brand standards, meets quality and cost expectations, and is delivered on time.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting the development and execution of category sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals
- Managing procurement documentation, price lists, supplier data, and maintaining the brand standards library
- Preparing and issuing RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Coordinating sample approvals, mock-ups, and ensuring suppliers meet our brand and compliance standards
- Tracking inflation, cost-saving initiatives, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and consolidation
- Staying up to date with market trends and bringing fresh ideas, innovations, and sustainable sourcing opportunities to the table
- Supporting the team in advancing our ESG and Responsible Procurement commitments
What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an FF&E or OS&E Buyer or Assistant Buyer, ideally within hospitality or a related operational spend area
- CIPS qualification (or working towards it) and/or a degree-level education
- Excellent supplier management, negotiation, and communication skills
- A proactive approach - able to work independently while building strong relationships across teams and with external partners
- Experience with procurement systems (P2P, S2C) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- A passion for detail, design, and delivering excellence through every element of the guest experience
