Assistant General Manager

As an Assistant General Manager at Hawksmoor, you’ll play a vital role in leading the team, driving the business and delivering the exceptional hospitality experience we’re known for. You’ll partner closely with the General Manager and senior team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant while supporting, developing and inspiring the next generation of Hawksmoor leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team to deliver warm, genuine hospitality
  • Support the General Manager in achieving commercial targets and operational excellence
  • Oversee service standards, training and guest satisfaction across all departments
  • Build and maintain a strong floor presence, setting the tone for Hawksmoor standards
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Take ownership of projects that drive business performance and team engagement

Who You Are

  • Experienced as an Assistant General Manager, strong Restaurant Manager, or similar senior FOH role in a quality, high-volume venue
  • A natural leader with excellent communication, organisation and people skills
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of sales, costs and profitability
  • Passionate about food, drink and creating unforgettable guest experiences
  • Collaborative, values-driven and ambitious to progress to General Manager
