Monday - Friday, closed Christmas and bank holidays. Great public transport links and onsite parking. Experience preferred but not essential. Flexible shift pattern offered.

Job Description

As a Hospitality Supervisor you would be working closely with your Manager based on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the operations team, talented chefs and target driven sales people to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.

The Catering team will build strong relationships with their clients, understanding a brief and executing every detail with continuous quality and a human touch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to catering staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

    Event Coordination:  Support Coordinate aspects of catering events, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to client specifications and company standards.

    Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and supporting catering orders. 

    Sales: Using initiative to maximise sales, Ensuring you can provide our customers with the appropriate knowledge of food items sold throughout. 

    Quality Control: Oversee food presentation ensuring quality and consistency, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Keeping the catering areas and service counters clean and fully stocked. Monitoring the stock in the ambient, chilled and hot service points to keep in line with BaxterStorey health & safety food guidelines

    Cost Management: Monitor catering expenses, including labor, supplies, and equipment, and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.

    Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local ordinances at all catering locations.

    Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.

    Other Duties: Assist in stocktaking as required. To communicate with the service management team to ensure replenishment orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner
