As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring that every guest journey begins and ends with exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to every guest, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Manage bookings and walk-in enquiries with efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate table seating to support smooth service flow across the restaurant.
• Answer guest questions, offer information about the menu and restaurant, and handle enquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Maintain a polished, organised, and inviting reception area.
• Work closely with the Maitre’d and front-of-house team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns discreetly, ensuring swift and positive resolutions.

Requirements / Skills

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a guest-facing role within an upscale or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage guests.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and confident communication.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.
