You are a key link in the chain that joins great staff with memorable customer service. You will be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring all leisure facilities, including our new padel courts, are maintained at the highest level of hygiene and safety. 

As a Leisure Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring our extensive facilities are always in impeccable condition. You'll assist the Leisure Team in creating a welcoming environment for all members, ensuring changing rooms and public areas are squeaky clean. You will also provide essential poolside visual life guarding in accordance with STA guidelines.

As a Padel Activator, you will play a crucial role in promoting and growing our padel community. You'll assist with session logistics, help welcome new players, and ensure a fun and vibrant environment on the padel courts.

What we need from you:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude – you're hands-on, reliable, and ready to step in wherever you're needed across the leisure club.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety – including knowledge of COSHH regulations and the confidence to respond swiftly and appropriately to poolside emergencies.
  • Excellent customer service skills – you're approachable, professional, and know how to make guests feel welcome and supported.
  • A team player mentality – you’re happy to collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a great member experience.
  • Attention to detail – from maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards to ensuring equipment and facilities are always in top condition.
  • Confidence in leading padel sessions – you're passionate about engaging with people and supporting the growth of our local padel community.
  • Great communication skills – you know how to listen, respond, and provide clear, helpful information to both guests and team members.
  • Flexibility and reliability – you're prepared to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to help deliver an exceptional leisure experience.
