The Role
As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will:
- Support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to maintain high standards of hospitality and product knowledge.
- Assist with rota planning, stock control, and maintaining cost efficiencies while driving revenue.
- Uphold all health & safety and licensing requirements in line with company policies.
- Contribute to the creation of signature drinks and seasonal menus, bringing creativity and flair to the bar offering.
- Be a visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture, with the ability to lead by example and support a high-performing team.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-end hospitality environment.
- A hands-on approach with strong people-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of premium beverages, cocktails, and wine service.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Bar Manager in managing all aspects of the bar operation.
- Lead, train, and mentor bar staff to deliver consistent, exceptional service.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and achieving financial targets.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance.
- Drive guest engagement and ensure service excellence across the bar team.
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of bar staff.
