Goods Receiver Mon - Fri

Are you highly organised, reliable, and hands-on? The Hero Pub is on the lookout for a Goods Receiver to manage our daily deliveries and keep our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Working week - Monday - Friday 7am - 12pm 

The Hero is a stunning four-storey pub in the heart of Maida Vale offering a different experience on each floor. We are looking for motivated team members with dining service experience to join our team in the Grill restaurant.

What you'll be doing as our Goods Receiver at The Hero: 

As our Goods Receiver, you’ll be the key point of contact for all incoming stock. You'll coordinate with truck drivers and suppliers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries – and make sure everything is received, checked, and stored with care.

• Coordinate daily deliveries with truck drivers and suppliers, managing traffic flow ensuring a seamless operation with minimal disruption to neighbours.
• Receive and inspect all goods against delivery notes
• Record and report any discrepancies or damage.
• Organise and store stock safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and management team about incoming goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in delivery and storage areas

• Ensure all health & safety and food safety standards are met

About you, our new Goods Receiver at The Hero:

• Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality, retail or logistics preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, especially with suppliers and drivers.
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Some lifting and manual handling required.
• Flexible and reliable, available to work Monday - Friday 7am - 12pm
