Events waiting team

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer focused people to join our Events waiting team at the Hero!

The Hero is a stunning four-storey pub in the heart of Maida Vale offering a different experience on each floor, From weddings and birthdays to corporate gatherings, our events are always something special — and we need someone who shares our passion for great service to join the team.

• Salary - £12.21 per hour + Tips (Earn up to £18 per hour)

A snapshot of what you'll be doing in Events at The Hero: 

• Set up and clear down event spaces efficiently
• Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome 
• Food & drink knowledge, Have a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer queries. 
• Proactively check on guests during the events to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issue that may arise.  
• Collaborative teamwork, Work closely with Events team, kitchen staff and all team members to ensure an efficient service. 

About you, our Events Waiting team member at The Hero:

• Be available to work evenings and weekends. 
• A team player who’s ready to muck in and make every event a success
• Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests. 
• Flexible approach to work.

Previous experience in events or a high-end, high-volume establishment is preferable but not imperative.
