    The Role

    As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead and inspire the team across all aspects of the business – from the bar and floor to private functions and brewery promotions. You’ll be a hands-on leader, helping deliver memorable experiences, maintain high operational standards, and drive commercial performance.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue.

    • Oversee and deliver exceptional guest experiences during high-volume trading and private events.

    • Play a key role in promoting and selling our on-site brewed beers.

    • Manage function bookings and ensure flawless execution of private events.

    • Lead, train, and develop front-of-house team members to maintain service excellence.

    • Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food safety standards.

    • Monitor stock, rota planning, and assist with P&L responsibilities.

    • Be a visible and engaging presence on the floor – especially during peak times.
