Reports to:  Lindsey Jessopp (Admissions & Retail Manager)

Accountable to: Directors of Farmer Palmers Farm Park – Phillip Palmer and Sandra Palmer-Snellin 

Location: Farmer Palmers Farm Park, Wareham Road, Poole, BH16 6EU 

Duties and responsibilities: Admission/General 

Hours: between 9am & 5pm, one day every weekend with additional hours during school holidays/staff cover.

Applicants must be 16 years or over

o Ensure the main reception/retail area is ready for business and the day ahead. 

o Deal with and respond to internal and external emails. 

o Customer Service – Face to face, telephone and email. 

o Phones – answer and transfer calls (take and relay messages to team members). 

o Till – Cash & card handling Inc. cashing up at the end of the day. 

o Post – Collect, open, and distribute to team.

 o Send daily admission figures to supervisors.

 o Produce documents (invoices/signs). 

o Liase with Customer and team members for parties / group bookings / events. 

o Politely operate radios to communicate with members of staff. 

o Manage a safe working environment to meet company and legislative health and safety requirements. 

o Inputting data into spreadsheets 

o Figure spreadsheets 

o Online orders 

o Carry out any other reasonable duties in line with the job role to meet the needs of the business. 

o Deal with ticket purchasing (date changes, cancellations etc.) Birthday Parties: 

o Process new online bookings 

o Liaise with customer ensuring we have all the info required for the day (children’s names, meal choices, answer customer queries) 

o Welcome parties upon their arrival (taking balance, ensure they understand party packs, running through eating time/party room & allocated tractor ride time). 

Passes: 

o Process online orders

o Deal with pass administration and enter onto system (CAPS). 

o Upsell to visitors 

o Pass sales and upkeep of computerised records. 

o Deal with any customer questions / queries relating to passes. 

Groups: 

o Provisionally book in groups & children's parties

o Deal with form on return with the deposit 

o Liaise with the leader about the booking (any questions they may have) 

o Finalise the group on the day and take payment/raise an invoice 

Stock: 

o Ensure the shop is clean, tidy and restocked daily 

o Accurately price stock 

o Support team with annual stock take 

Additional tasks/responsibilities: 

o Cleaning & tidying the shop and surrounding areas. 

o Help to find lost parents or children. 

o Process and complete all administration (shop related) 

o Returns for faulty products

• To work within company policies and procedures at all times. 

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers and work colleagues remembering that a smile and happy disposition will make our visitors feel welcome. 

 • Familiarise yourself with your copy of the Health and Safety Policy, Fire Drill and Risk Assessment & wear the Company-issued uniform. 

• Compliance with any reasonable requests by Supervisors and the Directors.
