Baker

Robineau Patisserie is a very successful family-owned business situated in the heart of Cockerton, Darlington. Established since 2002 the company has evolved from a bespoke wedding cake supplier to a very busy Patisserie and Café. Most recently a Nationwide service has been launched posting out our beautiful handmade biscuits, chocolates and cakes. Due to this expansion, we are now looking for an Assistant Baker to join our Kitchen team, with a 34 hour contract, over 4 days.

The successful applicant will assist our Head Chef, Frederic Robineau, who is a highly skilled Patisserie Chef, formerly trained in France. This is a fantastic opportunity for a naturally talented individual who has some experience in Bakery and would perhaps wish to progress within the company. Potential progression could include training in the art of Chocolate making, confectionary skills, kitchen logistics and a supervisory/management role. • - Brownie, Sponges, Classic Cakes
• - Scones and Croissants
• - Sweet Tarts
• - Savoury Bakery
• - Bakery Specials
• Creativity - You would be involved in creating new products ranges and seasonal menus...An opportunity to channel your creative flare

Requirements:

• A passion for Baking!
• Attention to detail and consistency in order to maintain Brand standards
• An engaging, enthusiastic and confident manner with a genuine passion for the Robineau brand and its evolution
• Experience from previous bakery roles is desirable
• Immaculate personal presentation
• Additional days/hours during busy seasonal periods
