Situated in the leafy residential area of Port Glasgow, Marchmont Care Home provides high-quality Residential and Nursing care for up to 51 residents in a warm and welcoming setting.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Whether you are an experienced nurse or looking to bring your skills into a care home environment for the first time, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference every single day.

Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of everything we do — delivering clinical excellence, mentoring your team, and ensuring every resident receives safe, personalised, and dignified care. You will create and implement care plans, monitor health and wellbeing, administer medications, and support residents to live as independently and joyfully as possible.

Your leadership will guide the care team, support smooth shift handovers, and foster strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be a reassuring presence, championing respect, promoting safety, and helping create a vibrant community where residents feel truly at home.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Passion for elderly care and a commitment to clinical excellence
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Calm, professional, and compassionate approach
