Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Pay: £14.79 per hour weekdays & £17.26 per hour weekends

Hours: 16 per week (Thursdays & Fridays, 08:00–16:00)

About the Role

You’ll be supporting a gentleman in his seventies who has complex needs due to a brain injury, including limited mobility, a speech disorder, and impaired cognition. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

He enjoys listening to the radio, getting out into the community, socialising and charity shopping. He also has very friendly cats who he loves dearly. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a female support worker with:

• Previous experience in complex care ideal but not essential
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours
• Reliable, flexible, and committed

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with daily routines and use of hoists
• Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
• Administer medication and monitor health
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Maintain accurate care records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
