Job Description

We are looking for a Guest Service Assistant to support and complete the night tasks of the departmental operations and deliver first class customer service experience for our guests and ensuring the property is safe and comfortable for our residents.

This role is a multi-tasking role, and you will be required to be adaptable to ensure that the needs of the residents are always met.

Role in our Family

As a Guest Services Assistant - Night shift, key to your role is:

• Assist with the preparation of the daily breakfast operations, ensure all food items are prepared and buffet is set up
• Adhere to Food Safety and Hygiene practises followed
• Cleaning/sanitising of tables in restaurant area and the reception area
• Maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office, staff room and outside areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Deal with any resident queries in a polite and friendly manner during the night shift
• Ensure necessary handover of information is passed on to the oncoming shift
• Clearly communicate with other departments to ensure minimal impact on resident service.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Respond to any incidents such as fire alarms throughout the shift, communicating with security teams as required.
• Complete all night audit tasks
• Performs night fire walks
