Bar Manager – The Pig and Butcher – Competitive Salary 

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our team at The Pig and Butcher, a well-loved neighbourhood pub in Islington known for its seasonal food, craft drinks, and welcoming atmosphere.

Salary: £42,000 with a salary review after successfully completing three month probation.

As Bar Manager, you’ll take ownership of the bar, leading by example and delivering outstanding service. You’ll be responsible for managing stock, training the bar team, curating a top-quality drinks offering, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

• Leading and motivating the bar team to deliver high standards

• Managing stock levels, orders, and cellar operations

• Developing seasonal cocktails and maintaining the drinks menu

• Ensuring exceptional customer service at all times

• Upholding health & safety and licensing compliance

• Working closely with the GM to support wider business goals

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Manager in a quality-led venue

• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine

• Leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a team

• Passion for hospitality and great service

• Organised, reliable, and confident under pressure
