Host Manager

We’re looking for a Host Manager to lead our front-of-house experience at The Blues Kitchen.

As the first face our guests see, you’ll bring a warm presence and a genuine approach to hospitality—managing the door, coordinating bookings, and setting the tone for unforgettable nights. This is a high-volume, late-night venue, so we’re after someone calm under pressure, clear in communication, and confident in keeping everything running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and seat guests with confidence and care

• Manage bookings, walk-ins, and waitlists

• Lead and support the host team during busy services

• Work closely with the floor and kitchen to maintain a smooth flow

• Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere from the door inwards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a guest-facing role (ideally at management or supervisor level)

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, late-night setting

• Strong communication and organisation skills

• Friendly, reliable, and professional approach

• Keen to grow within a hospitality-driven team

What to Expect

• Competitive Pay: £12.25 per hour + tronc (typically up to £16 per hour). Paid every two weeks, with tronc on the last Friday of the month.
