  The Hero is looking for a skilled and motivated Head Chef to lead our fresh, seasonal British kitchen—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment and is ready to make their mark in a standout neighbourhood pub.

•  Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 Per annum + Tips (Earn an extra £15,000 per annum)

What you'll be doing as a Head chef at The Hero: 

• Take the lead in crafting seasonal, locally inspired menus and make use of the fresh produce provided by our local farm.
•  Manage and inspire a team of kitchen professionals
• Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
• Build strong relationships with local suppliers and champion sustainability. 

• Work closely with the management team to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

About you, our new Head chef at The Hero:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality establishment.
• A passion for creating delicious, seasonal dishes'
• A creative mindset and a genuine love for hospitality
• Food Safety Level 3 Certification (or willingness to complete a course provided by us )
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management.
• Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
• Exceptional leadership skills and a passion for developing others.
