Trainee SEN / Hospitality Tutor

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors.Job Title: Trainee SEN / Hospitality Tutor Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travelSalary: £35,000 FTE (pro rata £26,250)Type: Part Time, Permanent (30 hours per week - days to be discussed with your recruiter) Essential Criteria:

• Must hold either a Level 3 qualification - or a minimum of 5 years' occupational experience - within: Hospitality Management OR SEN/D (as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker). 

• Must possess a passion for supporting learners with additional complex needs.

• Confident to deliver in a classroom and 1:1 setting.

• Willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training - fully funded and supported by the employer.

• Must be IT literate.

Duties include:

• You will support a caseload of SEN Apprentices, and deliver engaging training sessions within a classroom and online environment.

• Design and deliver internal training to your colleagues, to ensure best practice is delivered to SEN learners.

• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours

• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. 

• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
