Opened since May 2025, The Standard, Brussels marks the hotel brand’s third outpost in Europe. Set in the city’s Northern Quarter, The Standard, Brussels brings the brand’s design, culture and activation-driven philosophy to Belgium.
With 180 guestrooms (plus 20 residences), the modern, new-build project features many stages for The Standard’s renowned day- and nightlife. A ground-floor greenhouse welcomes guests and locals into the lobby lounge, restaurant, and terrace. Upstairs, The Rooftop features its own restaurant, bar and garden—set to become a neighbourhood destination. Throughout the building, additional public and private event spaces are platforms for happenings.

SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP:
Welcome customers, help them and inform them about their stay.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet customers, resolve minor problems.
• Register the entry and exit of individual and/or group customers.
• Enter and process information on the computer (e.g. billing).
• Respond to and follow up on customer requests.
• Guide customers to their rooms or to company members if they so require.
• Explain and demonstrate the operation of the various facilities in the hotel and, if necessary, in the room.
• Keep suitcases in storage.
• Watch out for people traffic.
• Enter call requests into the BPX system so that guests are awakened on time.
• Answer phones and relay messages to customers and associates.
• Bring mail, parcels and messages to customers, if necessary.
• Ensure that customers have a pleasant stay.
• Report to Front Desk, Technical Service and Housekeeping.
