Job Description
Working 5 days over 7 - Monday - Sunday Operation.
Job Purpose
- To support the manager in delivering quality service across the unit
- To ensure a strong relationship is kept with client & customers
- To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service
- To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided
- To communicate effectively with your manager and team
Key responsibilities and accountabilities Food and Service Development
- Coordinate the entire operation of the catering unit during scheduled shifts.
- Meet and greet customers and be a presence in the unit.
- Brief all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.
- Continually monitor the service and food provided in the restaurant, give feedback to the chefs/ service team and to ensure the food and service is of the highest quality.
- Check stock levels and order supplies.
- Assist in any area of the catering unit when circumstances dictate.
- Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment
- Configuring counter & display spaces to make them attractive
- Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team
- Assisting with administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role within catering.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
