About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to take full operational and commercial responsibility for Sandmere Care Home, a purpose-built, 68-bed residential and nursing service in the heart of Margate. With light-filled communal spaces, luxury en-suite bedrooms, and weekly fees averaging £1,400, Sandmere offers premium living for older people, including those requiring nursing, dementia, and complex care.

What You’ll Bring
- A strong, visible leadership style that inspires trust, confidence, and motivation across staff, residents, and stakeholders.
- Ideally Nurse qualified with a current NMC pin.
- Experience in commissioning or turnaround - you know how to grow occupancy in a private-pay market.
- Commercially astute with strong budget management, marketing, and compliance expertise.
- A confident, approachable presence that combines warmth with decisive management.
