Searcys are looking for an Hospitality Team Leader to join the team at British Academy.

As a Hospitality Team Leader for Searcys you will be responsible for the overall co-ordination of team of Waiting Staff during an event, as well as supporting the Managers with the execution of our busy events schedules.

Job Description

The Hospitality Team Leader will be working as part of an exciting events team to deliver the food & beverage, event operations at a large selection of events spaces.

Job Type: 0 Hours Contract

Hourly Rate: £14.00ph 

Responsibilities:

  • To lead and support a team of Wait Staff during our events.
  • To ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with Searcys standards
  • To meet and greet all customers and run through all info related to their meetings, such as timings, menus, dietary requirements
  • To brief the waiting team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of the daily operations alongside management
  • To assist on the development of the waiting team, making sure that they adhere to standards laid down by the management team and enforce these standards as required, especially on the areas of food and beverage service
  • To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, such as The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility
  • To deal effectively and courteously with customer complaints, and refer all complaints to the line manager, if necessary


Qualifications

 

  • Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
  • Experience working as a Team Leader or a similar position with Hospitality/Events is preffered
  • Lead by example, always acting in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responds quickly to drive business through periods of low demand
  • Takes the initiative
  • Excellent time management
  • Supportive / Team player
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
