Industrial Cleaner

Pertemps Recruitment Agency is proud to be representing a long-established and globally recognised organisation in the catering equipment and event services industry. Pay £13.36Ph 37.5 Hours Per Week 8:00 to 16:30. Due to the location candidates must have there own transport.Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning of commercial catering equipment and modular kitchen units in preparation for engineering checks.
• Prepare equipment components using dip tanks and sandblasting machines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, keeping equipment ready for operational use.
• Support other departments in the operations team as required, including occasional off-site work.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and company working practices.
• Report any damage or maintenance concerns to the team supervisor promptly.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately and on time.
• Take responsibility for the care and condition of PPE and tools provided.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Ability to perform manual handling and physically active work – bending, twisting, stretching, and lifting are part of daily duties.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently with good attention to detail.
• Basic spoken and written English is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, cleaning, or industrial setting is advantageous but not essential.
