Housekeeper (MAT Cover)

• Near Stow on the Wold
• £40,000 pa
• 1-Year maternity contract
• Monday to Sunday on a rota – Five days worked
• 08:00 to 16:00 / 13:00 – 21:00 on a rota basis
• 20 days holidays bank holidays

The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be working on behalf of a prestigious private estate seeking an experienced and capable Housekeeper to join their team on a maternity contract for 1-year.

• Keeping the main residence and guest accommodation immaculate and welcoming at all times
• All aspects of housekeeping, laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Deep cleaning and routine cleaning
• Working as part the housekeeping team and individually at times
• Following given instructions and house manuals
• Helping to receive and unload shopping weekly and replenish household supplies

• Previous private Housekeeping experience is essential
• Positive attitude, good manners and an understanding of a private household environment is key
• Ability to take instructions well and willing to learn and be proactive
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently

• Beautiful yet comfortable uniform along with meals and drinks on duty
• Continuous training and development
• A live out position that would suit someone who is located within a 30-minute commute of Stow
